The Philippines has five international gateways.
The busiest is in Manila, followed
by Cebu City. The other gateways are Davao City, the
Clark Air Base in Pampanga, and Laoag City.
There
are numerous taxis waiting for prospective customers
outside the airport, but it is best to book one before
leaving the airport at one of the Taxi Offices or
to call a car service to pick you up. The standard
flag rate is Php 25. There is also an airport bus
service to the center of Manila, and regular buses
that leave from outside the airport every 15 minutes
to traverse destinations along Manila's ring road.
Colorful 'Jeepneys' offer services
between the airport and a metro rail terminal, which
connects to the city center. Provincial airports such
as those in Cebu and Davao do not have metro rail
connections. It is best to either book a cab, rental
car, or shuttle service.
